Tasks at Geiger:
- Operational management and organization of daily routines in agriculture and forestry
- Responsibility for animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding planning
- Sustainable management of land considering ecological and agro-economic aspects
- Landscape maintenance activities
- Support for sustainable forest management measures
- Coordination of staff
- Further development of agricultural business branches
- Documentation and compliance with legal requirements, especially in animal husbandry and environment
- Communication with authorities, partners, and customers
What we're looking for:
- Completed training in agriculture, Master Craftsman / Technician or similar
- Several years of practical experience in cattle farming, ideally suckler cow husbandry
- Solid knowledge in animal husbandry, sustainable farming, and organic land management
- Technical understanding of modern agricultural machinery
- Residence ideally near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
- Strong communication and coordination skills, organizational talent, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Confident use of digital applications in agriculture
