What you’ll do at Geiger
- Manage the operation and organize day-to-day processes in agriculture and forestry
- Take responsibility for animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding plans
- Manage the land sustainably, taking ecological and agri-economic aspects into account
- Carry out landscape maintenance work
- Support measures for sustainable forest management
- Coordinate employees
- Further develop the farm’s business areas
- Document and comply with legal requirements, especially in animal husbandry and environmental regulations
- Communicate with authorities, partners, and customers
What we’re looking forward to
- Completed training in agriculture, master craftsman/technician qualification, or similar
- Several years of hands-on experience in cattle farming, ideally suckler cow farming
- Solid knowledge of animal husbandry, sustainable agriculture, and organic land management
- Technical understanding of modern agricultural machinery
- Ideally living near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
- Strong communication and coordination skills, organizational talent, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Confident using digital applications in agriculture
