Tasks at KS Engineering

• Checking contracts during tenders based on various standards (VOB contracts, functional specs, and other docs)
• Risk assessments regarding potential changes in construction schedules
• Putting together the legal basis for construction contract claims
• Preparing supplementary offers on time and according to contract in cooperation with site management and relevant departments
• Preparing and processing construction time extensions, including for disrupted workflows
• Ensuring contract-relevant documentation and supporting correspondence
• Preparing and conducting negotiations for extra work, as well as pushing through payment claims
• Checking expert reports, offers, and subcontractor supplements for accuracy

What we're looking for

• A degree in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering (construction), or business with a focus on construction management, or a construction technician with work experience
• Knowledge in construction operations, contract law, scheduling, and cost calculation
• Good skills in MS Office, iTWO, and scheduling software, plus very good German skills
• Team player with a confident manner and strong communication skills
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills
