Tasks at Geiger:
- Project purchasing for our 6 branches in Hamburg, Mainz, Munich, Ravensburg, Gelsenkirchen, and Stuttgart, managed centrally from Filderstadt for the repair of highway bridges, parking garages, and underground parking, specifically:
- Tendering for construction services and materials across more than 60 trades in collaboration with our site management
- Creating and evaluating price comparisons as well as commercial bid checking
- Preparing and leading award negotiations with subcontractors for construction services as a team with site management, including contract drafting
- Close cooperation with our estimating department to acquire future contracts
What we're looking for:
- A completed business degree or comparable training with experience in the technical field, or a completed technical training
- Ideally, professional experience in procuring construction services
- The desire to take on responsibility
- Negotiation skills and the drive to always get the best possible result
- A committed and self-reliant personality who supports our site management in procurement
- High service orientation and enjoyment in supporting the team
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting
