Head Construction Manager (m/f/d) for Civil Engineering in the Hegau/Lake Constance Area

Tasks

• You’ll independently manage civil engineering projects in the Hegau/Bodensee/Southwest Germany area.
• You’ll be responsible for the performance and results of the assigned projects.
• You’ll ensure the agreed execution dates and quality standards are met.
• You’ll lead the assigned project and construction site staff and be responsible for work safety.
• You’ll be responsible for the targeted awarding of necessary subcontractor services.
• You’ll be responsible for creating and enforcing change orders.

What We Rely On

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering (FH/TU) or similar.
• Several years of experience in managing civil engineering projects, preferably with Deutsche Bahn.
• Experience as a senior site manager or several years in construction management.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in construction.
• Proficient in general IT applications, RIB iTWO, and digital tools.
• Leadership experience, negotiation skills, assertiveness, and team spirit.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action.
• Strong awareness of necessary work safety.
• Openness and ideally experience in implementing BIM and Lean methodology.
• Commitment and independent, results-oriented work style.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes for regional assignments.
