Tasks at Geiger
- Working in a team to assemble our eco-friendly, prefabricated timber modules into turnkey buildings
- Helping out with custom timber projects like residential buildings, public buildings, commercial properties, and similar projects with a high level of prefabrication
- Installing flooring and doors at module joints
- Fine-tuning doors and windows
- Mounting roof cladding
- Finishing up remaining work on the construction site
- Doing quality checks and documentation according to company guidelines
- Handling touch-ups or service/complaint work
What we're looking for
- A completed apprenticeship as a joiner (m/f/d), carpenter (m/f/d), wood mechanic (m/f/d), or in a similar field
- Work experience in woodworking / timber module construction
- Career changers (m/f/d) with manual skills and a love for working with wood are also welcome
- Technical understanding and manual dexterity
- Willingness to travel (mostly Southern Germany)
- Class B driver's license is a plus
- An independent, precise, and cost-conscious way of working
- Team spirit, flexibility, and quality awareness
- Commitment to helping shape our new business area
