Dual Studies in Civil Engineering (m/f/d)

We are a stable, traditional engineering firm based in Riedlingen, Baden-Württemberg. In a relaxed work atmosphere, you'll gain experience with us on demanding infrastructure projects and can directly apply what you've learned in theory. Study Type: Degree with intensive practice

Degree Programs:

Civil Engineering | Start in summer or winter semester

Construction Project Management | Start in winter semester

Requirements:

2-month construction site internship before the end of the 2nd semester (internships before starting your studies also count)

General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or technical college entrance qualification

Contract:

If it's a good fit for both of us, we'll sign a training contract. We'll discuss the pay beforehand. After that, you apply to HBC for a study spot. Spots are limited, so we should get in touch early. Without a study spot, the practical training can't start either.

Study Duration and Schedule:

8 semesters, practical phases during lecture-free periods as well as full-time in the 5th and 6th semesters. The practical phases follow the HBC practical framework plan. You'll work in the departments of traffic planning, surveying, urban and landscape planning, civil engineering structures, as well as in the commercial and management areas. The latest hardware and software are available, including the DJI Matrice 4E drone for surveying or Vialytics for road condition assessment. Throughout the entire duration, a fixed contact person in our company will be by your side. With your company laptop, you can work remotely on tasks when needed.
