Your Mission – Our Mission

Are you excited about demanding pipe jacking work and technical challenges underground? Then bring your know-how to our experienced team at Grund- und Tiefbau GmbH – in the heart of the Marti Group, one of Europe's leading construction companies in special civil engineering.

We are currently setting up a new branch for the German market. In doing so, we draw on the expertise of our Swiss sister company, Grund- und Tiefbau AG Basel, and work with the latest pipe jacking machines from leading manufacturers (Herrenknecht, Perforator, Geonex).

In this versatile role, you combine technical work preparation with operational site management on our construction sites throughout Germany (and occasionally in Switzerland).

What you can achieve with us

You are the responsible manager on the jacking sites. Together with our drilling masters, you make sure the jacking keeps moving:

· Management: You organize and monitor the site processes – from setup to handover.

· Quality & Safety: You ensure that deadlines, budget, and our high quality standards are met. Occupational safety is a top priority at Marti.

· Coordination: You are the central contact person on-site for clients, authorities, subcontractors, and our internal specialist departments.

· Teamwork with the back office: You provide the operational facts (documentation, measurements) so that our technical back office can successfully support billing and supplement management. You work hand in hand with colleagues from the technical and commercial departments.

What you bring to the table

· Education: Degree in civil engineering, state-certified construction technician, or a comparable qualification with solid construction practice.

· Professional interest: Enthusiasm for trenchless jacking techniques (microtunneling, press and hammer drilling). Initial experience in special civil engineering or pipe jacking is a plus, but not a dealbreaker.

· Mobility & willingness to travel: Class B driver's license (the company will fund a BE trailer license if needed) and willingness to travel to our nationwide construction sites and to Switzerland.

· IT Skills: Confident use of MS Office; experience with MS Project, AutoCAD, or GGU software is an advantage.
