Training and Development Coordinator (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Training and Development Coordinator (m/f/d) in Cologne on behalf of our client.

• WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Take the lead on managing and improving training programs across all locations.
  • Plan the annual start of the apprenticeship year and manage onboarding, mentoring, and buddy programs.
  • Create and maintain standardized training plans to keep everything up to date.
  • Conduct feedback sessions and exit interviews.
  • Liaise with chambers of commerce (IHK/HWK), vocational schools, and other partners.
  • Organize "Apprentice Days," networking events, and career fairs.
  • Act as the go-to person for trainees, instructors, and external partners.
  • Plan and roll out internal professional development initiatives.
  • Handle training organization from A to Z: developing concepts, working with external speakers, and managing all the logistics.
  • Keep training concepts and plans fresh, including mandatory content, refresher intervals, and documentation.
• YOUR PROFILE
  • A degree or commercial training background related to HR or education.
  • Experience in training, further education, HR, or talent development is a plus.
  • An organizational pro who works independently and stays structured.
  • Great communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to apprentices as well as school officials.
  • A dynamic personality who loves building and improving things.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany.
