
Project Manager / Project Engineer for Energy Infrastructure & Substations (m/f/d)
What you will do with us
Do you have a technical background and want to work on challenging projects involving energy infrastructure and substations? Then we're looking for you for our projects in the energy transition and infrastructure sector. Depending on your experience, you'll take on tasks in planning, project coordination, or project management. You'll work closely with internal and external project partners and make sure that technical requirements, deadlines, costs, and quality all fit together. What's in it for you? • Planning, coordinating, and leading projects in the field of substations and energy infrastructure • Helping out with new builds, expansions, and modernizing technical facilities • Coordinating the interfaces between electrical engineering, civil engineering, planning, and execution • Checking in with clients, grid operators, specialist planners, manufacturers, authorities, and contractors • Managing schedules, costs, and quality • Working on technical concepts and planning documents • Creating and checking tenders and service specifications • Keeping an eye on project documentation • Handling technical topics from primary technology, secondary technology, or civil engineering • Planning and coordinating plant layouts, cable routes, grounding systems, and switchgear • Taking part in client and site meetings What should you bring to the table? You come from one of these areas, for example: • Electrical engineering or energy technology • Civil engineering • Mechanical or plant engineering • Electrical engineering with further training as a technician • State-certified technician • Comparable technical training or qualification Additionally, we value: • Technical understanding and interest in complex infrastructure projects • Interest in energy infrastructure, substations, and the energy transition • Experience in planning, project management, project coordination, or construction supervision • A structured and independent way of working • A sense of responsibility and solution-oriented thinking • Good communication and teamwork with different project partners • Good German skills • Willingness to go to occasional client and site meetings Knowledge of AutoCAD, Engineering Base, EPLAN, RUPLAN, or MS Project is a plus. Knowledge of relevant IEC, DIN, and VDE standards is also helpful, but not a requirement for every position.
