Project Description
The project "The Tide BF115 – DAM Expansion" involves the high-quality interior construction of a building in the HafenCity Hamburg district. The goal is to create a sustainable and certifiable building according to the guidelines of the HafenCity Environmental Label (HCH), aiming for the highest certification level, "Platinum."
The work is based on the plans from the office of Heide von Beckerath (HvB) and additional detailing by LH Architects. Key trades include stonework, tiling and paneling, plastering and screeding, carpentry, metalwork, drywall, flooring, as well as painting, varnishing, and signage.
Special requirements:
- Implementation considering the color and material concept
- Use of low-emission and low-pollutant building materials according to REACH and HCH guidelines
- Recycling-friendly construction using R-concrete and CEM III cement
- Soundproofing measures (room-in-room construction, floating screed, acoustically effective ceilings)
- Meeting high standards for accessibility and allergy-friendly equipment
- Documentation and verification obligations for quality assurance and HCH certification
Certification goal: Meeting the requirements of the HCH criteria catalog version 3.0 with a Platinum award in at least three of the five evaluation categories (Ecology, Economy, Social, Technology, Process Quality).
