Hölscher Wasserbau is in charge of the groundwater management for Lot 2 of the LNG gas pipeline EWA. This lot covers a 30-kilometer stretch between the coastal canal near Oldenburg and Bad Zwischenahn. Hölscher Wasserbau is carrying out around 500 drillings along this route, each with a diameter of 700 mm and up to 12 meters deep. These drillings are being done with a cable excavator. Additionally, the groundwater is being lowered on part of the route using a drainage trencher through horizontal water management. After successfully completing the WAL pipeline in a record construction time of nine months, Hölscher Wasserbau is once again proving its expertise in pipeline construction.
