Project Description
As part of the campus expansion at Melaten for RWTH University Aachen, a new six-story building is being constructed to house offices, seminar rooms, and a daycare center on the ground and first floors.
The building, designed in a wood-hybrid construction, has a rectangular floor plan of approximately 37.4 m x 33.0 m x 21.26 m.
The building was planned with a wooden skeleton structure and two stabilizing reinforced concrete stairwells in exposed concrete quality, extending from the ground floor to the roof.
