Planning and Building a Gas Engine Power Plant in Saarbrücken

ENGIE Deutschland supported Energie SaarLorLux with permit management and was responsible for all planning, construction, and commissioning of the gas engine power plant itself.

The planning and delivery scope of ENGIE Deutschland included:

the building construction including foundation work the delivery and installation of the gas engine units the technical auxiliary systems like exhaust technology, compressed air and lubrication oil supply, the heating water system, and the gas supply the electrical installation including backup power system and block transformer for feeding into the 110 KV grid the automation system the facade including a PV system consisting of about 1000 PV modules and 400 additional decorative facade components
