Mechatronics Technician for Refrigeration Technology

ENGIE Deutschland is planning and implementing the technical building equipment at the Reinhold Würth Innovation Center. This includes everything related to HVAC and plumbing – from the complete sanitary facilities in the building to a drinking water separation station for process water production, and even special emergency and eye showers for the labs. A unique feature is the so-called retractable hydrants, which are similar to lawn sprinklers in football stadiums and ensure the drinking water supply during larger events in a marquee.

Das umfasst alle Maßnahmen rund um RLT und Sanitär – von der kompletten sanitären Ausstattung im Gebäude über eine Trinkwassertrennstation für die Betriebswassererzeugung bis hin zu speziellen Not- und Augenduschen für die Labore. Eine Besonderheit sind die sogenannten Senkelektranten, die Rasensprengern in Fußballstadien ähneln und beispielsweise bei größeren Veranstaltungen in einem Festzelt die Trinkwasserversorgung sichern.

ENGIE Deutschland supported Energie SaarLorLux with permit management and was responsible for all planning, construction, and commissioning of the gas engine power plant itself.

The planning and delivery scope of ENGIE Deutschland included:

the building construction including foundation work
the delivery and installation of the gas engine units
the technical auxiliary systems like exhaust technology, compressed air and lubrication oil supply, the heating water system, and the gas supply
the electrical installation including backup power system and block transformer for feeding into the 110 KV grid
the automation system
the facade including a PV system consisting of about 1000 PV modules and 400 additional decorative facade components

ENGIE Deutschland unterstützte die Energie SaarLorLux beim Genehmigungsmanagement und verantwortete alle Planungen, den Bau und die Inbetriebnahme des Gasmotorenkraftwerkes selbst.
