Project Description
The new administration building of Vector Informatik GmbH in Karlsruhe will be built on six floors, with a total gross floor area of 35,000 m². Additionally, there will be a parking garage with 220 car parking spaces, 7 motorcycle parking spaces, and 184 bicycle parking spaces. These facilities will accommodate over 600 employees and students.
The project aims to achieve Platinum certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) (pre-certification in 2019). The highlight of the project is the geothermal system for heating and cooling the building.
Special features:
339 geothermal probes 4 concrete distribution shafts 2,400 m³ of earthworks and compaction 10,000 linear meters of connection pipeline works
