Whoever is at Zurich Airport cannot miss the new commercial center "The Circle". Bauer was commissioned with the foundation and construction of an energy pile system for this prestigious project. A total of 1,150 piles with a diameter of up to 1.5 m were drilled to a depth of up to 55 m. Afterwards, over 1,000 of these piles were geothermally activated and now serve as a central component of the heating and cooling supply. The special thing is: with a total capacity of around 1.8 MW, the implemented energy pile system is unique throughout Europe.

Wer am Züricher Flughafen unterwegs ist, der kann das neue kommerzielle Zentrum „The Circle“ nicht übersehen. Bauer wurde bei diesem Prestigeprojekt mit der Gründung und dem Bau einer Energiepfahlanlage beauftragt. Dazu wurden ins­ge­samt 1.150 Pfähle mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 1,5 m in eine Tiefe bis zu 55 m abgeteuft. Anschließend wurden über 1.000 dieser Pfähle geothermisch aktiviert, die nun als zentraler Be­standteil der Wärme- und Kälteversorgung dienen. Das Be­sondere: Mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 1,8 MW ist die realisierte Energiepfahlanlage einzigartig in ganz Europa.

The new administration building of Vector Informatik GmbH in Karlsruhe will be built on six floors, with a total gross floor area of 35,000 m². Additionally, there will be a parking garage with 220 car parking spaces, 7 motorcycle parking spaces, and 184 bicycle parking spaces. These facilities will accommodate over 600 employees and students.

The project aims to achieve Platinum certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) (pre-certification in 2019). The highlight of the project is the geothermal system for heating and cooling the building.

10,000 linear meters of connection pipeline works

Auf sechs Geschossen entsteht die neue Verwaltung des Standorts Karlsruhe der Vector Informatik GmbH mit insgesamt 35.000 m² Bruttogeschossfläche sowie ein Parkhaus mit 220 PKW-Stellplätzen, 7 Motorradparkplätzen und 184 Fahrradabstellplätzen. Diese bieten Raum für über 600 Mitarbeiter und Studenten.

Angestrebt wird die DGNB-Zertifizierung in Platin (Vorzertifizierung in 2019). Highlight des Projekts ist die geothermische Anlage zum Heizen und Kühlen des Gebäudes.
